Allied Psych now offers a range of consulting services for medical, psychological and neuropsychiatric practices who seek to offer psychophysiological care and for organizations seeking health optimization and stress reduction programs.
We welcome opportunities to collaborate with other small healthcare firms to build robust teams to enter into contractual arrangements with government and industry for psychophysiological, clinical neuroscience research, and related healthcare services. We are CCR and DUNS registered, the required contracting system for doing business with the U.S. Federal Government.
Biofeedback Mentoring for BCIA Certification
Lee Porter, NP, CS offers a supervised mentorship for biofeedback practitioners and licensed clinicians seeking BCIA board certification. The BCIA requires a mentored internship for board certification (see the BCIA web site for current certification requirements).
Lee Porter is Board Certified in Biofeedback (BCB) and Board Certified in Neurofeedback (BCN) by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). BCIA is the only institute recognized worldwide granting certification to biofeedback practitioners. BCIA was established in 1981 with the mission of protecting the general public by establishing strict standards for biofeedback practitioners. Currently, approximately 1,500 health care professionals have achieved this certification, some of which, including Mr. Porter, have more than one certification.
To encourage increased certification in the field and to promote membership in the NC Biofeedback Society, Lee Porter offers discounts for clinical supervision and mentoring for members of the NC Biofeedback Society.
Group training in psychophysiological management of stress
Workshops for organizations and groups on the stress response and health implications of chronic stress. Hands on training and expert guidance on the best use of home biofeedback training devices.
PTSD and mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injury (mTBI) clinical assessments
QEEG data collection and analysis for brain injury (ie., post-concussive syndrome, mTBI); heart rate variability (HRV) and capnometry biofeedback for mTBI and PTSD.
Healthcare Practice Management for small or solo practices
