Allied Psych integrates state-of-the-art clinical neuroscience with a care-oriented advanced practice nursing approach. The practice provides psychological and medical support for clients with select chronic medical conditions with a neurological component.
A growing body of evidence supports use of physiological biomarkers and imaging technologies such as QEEG, SPECT and fMRI to guide effective, patient-centered treatment. Allied Psych uses the QEEG as a clinical tool to assist in guiding treatment. Allied Psych also uses heart rate variability and capnometry as biomarkers of nervous system function.
Allied Psych accepts self-referred adult clients (18+) as well as referrals from primary care and specialty practices. Allied Psych selectively treats clients under age 18 on a professional referral basis only - please contact the practice for details. The practice provides collaborative care with many area medical practices.
