The mission of Allied Psychophysiology is to help patients reach optimal mind-body health in the safest and most expedient way possible that respects their resources, values, and goals.
We provide high quality, time intensive assessment, treatment and care, based on state-of-the-art science and clinically proven interventions.
The clinical focus of the practice is neurological and psychiatric disorders, and medical and psychological disorders that involve a mind-body linkage.
Although we offer medication consultations as needed for our patients, we carefully weigh the benefits versus the risks inherent in taking medications. We recognize that most medication studies do not factor long term use or the effects of multiple medications on health outcomes.
We use a nursing approach that takes into account the bio-psycho-social factors of health; and we consider the whole person, not just a single organ or system, in assessment and treatment.
We provide high quality, personalized care, based on best available practice modalities for the specific clinical problem. We provide compassionate treatment in a clean, friendly, and comfortable environment. Through supportive guidance and education, we assist and empower the patient to take control of their own health to the greatest degree clinically possible.
The practice approach is based on scientific principles of clinical neuroscience and nursing and has no religious orientation. We welcome patients of all backgrounds.
